A little background of the country from where the picture was taken...
Number of unemployed of working age: around 900.000 Number of citizens: around 8 million. Around quarter of the people lives below the "line of poor", which is set suprisingly low by the politicians. The same politicians that keep promising things will be better once in the future. At the same time, newspapers are filled with acts of desperate people, and sometimes, with recordings of death from starvation. -"When will things be better?" Some people ask. And this is my reply. As long as people throw the bread in the dumpster, NEVER! |
